As your children work on the coloring sheet or activity sheet, review last week's lesson. Ask your children if they have ever been sick and how it feels. Ask them if anyone has helped them feel better while sick and what they did to help.

Make Get Well Cards

Get Well Card Craft for Children - Under the Weather Card Craft

Teach your students to be sympathetic by encouraging them to create get-well cards or use the provided adorable dog card with the message "I heard you are feeling under the weather. Get well soon!"

Children color the pictures and then glue them to a folded piece of colored paper. They can give these cards to people who are sick or going through difficult times. The cards are available in color and black and white, with or without words, so students can add their own personal messages.

Rebus Bible Verse Review Game

Job Printable Bible Verse Rebus Game for Children's Ministry

In this entertaining game, children take turns uncovering a Bible verse by removing numbered sticky notes to reveal images representing the verse.

Before class, cover the entire picture with sticky notes and number them.

During the class, encourage children to take turns answering a question from the lesson and choosing a sticky note to reveal. After removing a note, the child who answered the question attempts to interpret the verse from the revealed pictures and words.

Continue playing until someone recites the entire verse or all the pictures are revealed. This verse is from the KJV, with the exception of switching "Job" and "did not" to ensure correct wording.
