2. Print out the Names of Jesus Cards on to card stock. (Patterns available to members on The Resource Room.)

3. In class break your group up into teams.

4. Divide the cards evenly between the groups. Each group should pick one person to be the person who acts out the words for his team. Each team gets three minutes to guess as many words as they can.

The team member who is acting out the words may pick the words he wants to act out for his team. He can pass on certain words if the other members of his team are not able to guess the word or he thinks it is too hard to guess.

5. After each team has had three minutes to guess as many words as they can. Count up the number of words that have been guessed by each team. The team that has guessed the most words wins.

6. When the game is over have your children look up the Bible verses that go along with the words they guessed correctly.

2. Line up nine jumbo crafts sticks or mini-jumbo craft sticks one on top of the other.

3. Spread glue on the back of a card stock square and stick it to the middle of the craft sticks pressing down and out from the middle of the paper.

4. Turn the craft sticks over and glue another piece of card stock to the back.

5. Let the glue dry completely. This could take up to an hour. When the glue is completely dry use an Exacto knife or box cutter to cut the paper. On one side carefully cut the paper in the space between the first and second craft stick.

Do not cut all the way through to the paper on the other side. Skip the next space and cut the space between the third and fourth craft sticks. Skip the next space and the top paper between the fifth and sixth craft sticks.

6. Turn the card over and cut the paper in the space between the second and third craft sticks, the fourth and fifth, and the sixth and seventh.

7. Carefully fold up the craft sticks.

8. In class have your children color and decorate their folding cards. They can also draw their own designs on the back of the sticks.

5. Play a Name Game

Preparation:

1. Have the children sit in a circle.

How to Play:

The first child thinks of a name. The next child has to think of a name starting with the last letter of the first child’s name. For instance, if the first child picks “Mark”, the second child would have to think of a name starting with “K”.

Member's Member's Lesson

2. Keep going around the circle until someone cannot think of a name.

3. Start again when someone cannot think of a name and keep playing like this until only one child is left.

You can also have each child think of a name using the alphabet. The first child would have to think of a name starting with “A”, the second child would have to think of a name starting with a “B”, and so on. Or you could have the children think of bible names, maybe give a prize to the child that can think of the most Bible names.
