How to make Bible Crafts and Activities with a Spring Theme

"He Provides Rain for the Earth" Spring Bible Activity Sheet for Children

What you will need:

Paper

Colored Pencil

Watercolor Paint

Crayons (White)

Markers

Eyedropper

How to Make:

1. Before class print out the activity sheet and make copies. (Do not use copies printed on a printer that has water-soluble printer ink.)

There are several techniques your students can use to make it look like it is raining on this activity sheet. Here are a few:

1. Raindrops - Draw in raindrops and flowers, and then color the picture with crayons or markers.

2. Crayon Resist - Draw in rain (lines) with a white crayon or clear wax candle. Color the picture with crayons or colored pencils and then use watercolor to paint over the crayon to make the rain show up.

3. Spray Water to Create Rain - Color the picture with crayons or colored pencils. Paint the background with watercolor paint and then use a spray bottle or flick water onto the page with your fingers. Lift up the paper so the water rolls down so that it leaves drip marks that look like rain.

4. Blowing Watercolor Drops - Color the picture with crayons or colored pencils. Draw in flowers or other natural items. Use an eyedropper to drop watercolor paint on the the sheet. Pick up the sheet and let the paint roll off the page.
