Interactive Bible Lesson

Children enjoy learning how towers protected people in Bible times and how God’s name protects us today. The Strong Tower Bible Lesson helps children connect a familiar structure with the powerful truth found in Proverbs 18:10. Younger children are drawn in by a short story about a boy who runs to a tower for safety during a storm, while older children stay engaged through discussion about how towers were built and why they were effective. The lesson is flexible and works well for mixed-age classes, Sunday school, children’s church, or home teaching.

Make a Strong Tower Box Stacking Bible Verse Review Game

Strong Tower Bible Verse Reviews Game

Children laugh, move, and work together as they stack boxes labeled with words from the Bible verse to build a strong tower. Boxes are mixed up before play, and children race against the clock to place them in the correct order to reveal the verse.

For younger children, skip the race and encourage them to work together at a relaxed pace to build the tower and say the verse aloud.

When the tower is finished, talk about why the name of the Lord is compared to a strong tower and how God keeps us safe.

Strong Tower Coloring Sheet

Strong Tower Coloring Sheet for Proverbs 18:10

Children enjoy coloring a strong tower scene while thinking about how God protects and cares for them. This coloring sheet works well as an opening activity while waiting for other children to arrive.

As children color, teachers can ask simple questions about the picture—such as who is safe inside the tower or why people would run to a tower for protection—to help connect the activity to the lesson. The picture reinforces the idea that the Lord is a strong tower and that we can run to Him when we feel scared or need help.
