Full-sized Candy Canes of any Color

Crayons, Markers, and Highlighter Markers

Paper

Scissors or Exacto Knife

How to Make:

1. Before class print out the activity sheet and cut the slits where indicated with an Exacto knife or scissors so that a candy cane can be inserted in the sheet.

2. Give each child a candy cane.

3. In class, encourage your children to color the letters "O" and "Y" to match their candy cane.

4. When they have finished coloring show them how to insert the candy cane into the slits so that the candy cane looks like the letter "J".
