How to make a Christmas Ornament Game to Review a Bible Verse

Your students will love creating these festive Christmas ornaments that are also used as a Bible verse review game. Children fill each clear ornament with sparkling snowflake sequins, Christmas ribbon, tinsel, gems, and tiny pieces of paper with a word from a Bible verse. Once complete, the ornament becomes an interactive game—children shake the bulb and race to find each word of the Bible verse in the correct order. What you will need:

3.15" Clear Plastic Christmas Ornaments

Glue

Decorative items such as: Snowflake Sequins or Confetti - White and Blue Snowflake Confetti, Glitter Blue and Silver Snowflakes, or Laser Silver Snowflakes and Circles Christmas Ribbon, Gems, Tiny Pompoms, Glitter, or Beads

How to Make the Christmas Ornament Bible Verse Review Game:

1. Carefully remove the cap from the ornament.

2. Place decorative items inside the ornament.

3. Write the Bible verse on a thin strip of paper and then cut the words apart.

4. Add them to the other items inside the ornament.

5. Glue the top back on the ornament so that it doesn't come off.

6. Have your students shake up their ornaments and on the word "Go" look for the first word of the Bible verse. Have them continue shaking and turning the ornament until the have found all the words in order to complete the verse. If you have only one ornament, have the children take turns. The child with the shortest time wins.
