Dragonfly Made from Plastic Spoon and Knives
What you will need:
Clear Plastic Spoons and Knives
Glitter Glue Paint
Paint Brush
String or Heavy Duty Thread
How to Make the Spoon and Fork Dragonfly Craft:
1. Glue two knives together in an X-shape to make the dragonfly's wings using a low temp. glue gun.
2. Glue the wings to the plastic spoon just below the cupped part of the spoon.
3. Paint the dragonfly with glitter glue and let it dry.
4. Glue on googly eyes at the tip of the spoon. You can also add decorative items such as beads and sequins.
5. To finish tie on some thread to hang the dragonfly.

Dragonfly Craft Stick Craft for Kids
What you will need:
Clear Packaging Tape. Clear Contact Paper or Transparencies (Transparencies are clear pieces of plastic that you can use in your printer. Buy the type that is compatible with your printer.)
Card Stock (Heavy Paper)
How to Make the Dragonfly Craft Stick Craft:
1. Cut a 1 3/4" oval for the dragonflies thorax and a 1" oval for the head as shown in the diagram. Paint the craft stick and body pieces and let them dry.
2. Print out the dragonfly wings pattern. You can use transparencies to make clear wings, or card stock. If you use the card stock and are going to be use the dragonflies outside, you can cover the wings with contact paper or clear tape. If you want clear wings and don't have transparencies you can place two pieces of tape or clear contact paper sticky side together and then trace the wing pattern onto the tape or contact paper with a permanent marker.

3. Cut the wings out and glue them to the jumbo craft stick with the larger wings on top as shown.
4. Glue the large oval over the wings, and the smaller oval on the end of the craft stick for the head. Glue wiggle eyes to the sides of the head.
5. You can use glitter glue to decorate the wings.

Dragonfly Plant Stake Craft
What you will need:
Three Pipe Cleaners (Chenille Stems) - Two different colors, one that is Metallic Pipe Cleaners works well,
How to make the Dragonfly Plant Stake:
1. Roll up about 3" of the end of the main pipe cleaner to make the head. Bend the rest of the pipe cleaner so that it sticks out perpendicular from the head.
2. Wind the metallic pipe cleaner around the body pipe cleaner starting next to the head about 5 1/2" and then cut the ends of the two pipe cleaners 5 1/2" from the head. Bend it in half and fold it so it just meets the head. Glue it down.
