Fluffy Chenille Stem Animal Crafts
Bend, Shape, and Create Fluffy Chenille Stem Animals!
Note: Each animal pictured above took two Chenille stems to complete.
Let your imagination lead the way! Fluffy chenille stems are a fun, flexible creative medium for kids and adults. Bend, twist, and reshape them to give each animal its own personality. Try different ears, tails, and poses—if something doesn’t turn out as you imagined, simply reshape it and try again. Experimenting is part of the fun!
Children will enjoy choosing accessories to give their animals personality, from colorful bows to tiny plastic bones. They may even want to make cozy pet beds by coiling fluffy chenille stems into larger and larger circles.
Safety note: Small parts, including eyes and plastic bones, can pose a choking hazard. Keep them away from babies and toddlers.
Instructions:
There are no step-by-step instructions—just pick up a stem and start bending! If you aren’t happy with the result, unbend it and try again. Experimenting is part of the fun!
When you are happy with your creation, use felt or craft foam to add ears, antlers, and tongues.
